When it counts the most

When it comes to off shore fishing there are so many different components that need to come together to create an smooth and potentially amazing day out on the water fishing.

First, there are the things we can’t control like rough seas and high winds.

Then, there are the things you can’t forget fueling up, your gear, fishing rods, terminal tackel or bait.  I’ve left the dock at least twice forgetting to grab all the bait and chum out of the freezer and had to turn back – fail!

Where you don’t want to fail is when you have your personal best fish on the line and loose it to a sub par gaff that isn’t sharp enough or has the run of the mill hook and with just a flick of the tail, (what was suppose to be YOUR fish) is back in the water… gone.

I’ll start from the bottom to the to top on why I love these gaffs.

The non removable rubber butt gimbals are non-marking. There’s nothing worse than black scuff marks on the deck.

Their heavy duty “super grips”  are the highest performing on the market.

The carbon fiber shafts use reverse grip texture for gripping close to the hook when you’re moving fish around in the boat.

The hooks on their standard gaffs are perfect for mahi, wahoo, mackeral, tuna, grouper, snapper, cobia and other species under 100lbs.

The super gaffs are what you want for big game like tuna, swordfish and other species over 70lbs.

Both sized hooks come with retention grooves to control fish better than ever, and a unique tapered throat and offset belly shape that they spent months testing.

My favorite part is that they are customizable!

Your hook can be painted one color and the shaft another. You can customize it to your tournament team or boat colors.
