Weekend Fishing Report
As you will notice the Wahoo is being most active in the central Bahamas waters but areas around the Berry Islands are not reporting any recent catches, while the areas of Bimini, Long Island, Abaco and Grand Bahama are getting some outstanding Wahoo reports.
The Yellowfin Tuna bite is slowly beginning to heat up. Eleuthera has seen the most consistent bite but it will not be long before other Islands catch up.
March is usually the start of the Mahi bite so we should be seeing a lot more activity in the Exumas and other islands soon.
If Bonefishing is your passion then this is your time, hang out in Abaco, Andros, Bimini and Berry not to mention good reports from Grand Bahama and Long Island.
Overall it looks like a good weekend for some fishing but don’t get too excited if you are on the hunt for Mahi, Blue Marlin or Sailfish it’s just not here yet.
